Job Description

Flomatik Network Services are seeking a Junior Administration person to join our growing team based in-house in Winnersh, near Reading in Berkshire working on an exciting major telecoms project with one of the UK's leading telecoms/broadband companies.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast paced high technology environment. We are looking for an energetic and passionate person with the successful candidate supporting the project managers in the business unit.

Main Outline Duties and Person Requirement:

  • Raising purchase orders & material orders
  • Updating tracker spreadsheets and databases
  • Pull data from system to create purchase orders and bills of materials.
  • Track and coordinate all activities and tasks that form Flomatik’s project deliverables, maintaining comprehensive project documentation and ensuring the project document library is kept up to date
  • Carry out weekly project reporting in the agreed formats, pulling relevant data from multiple sources and liaising with the data analysts
  • Updating of project management systems and tools at agreed frequency with the PM’s 
  • Flexible approach in dealing with amendments to planned information
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to project lead/management as needed
  • Successfully assist in the management of the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Help establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors where appropriate

Personal attributes (skills, aptitude and understandings):

  • Previous experience in a project support/administration background could be an advantage but not a prerequisite for this position.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel – additional Flomatik and client specific applications may be required (training will be provided where necessary)
  • Relationship builder, great attention to detail, diligent and can see ‘the bigger picture’
  • Appropriate educational background
  • Strong communication skills, coupled with a good telephone manner and experience of dealing with multiple parties, both internal and external
  • Good organisational skills and able to work logically
  • Able to manage your own time effectively
  • To recognise and escalate issues and seek assistance where necessary
  • To be effective working in both a team and on own initiative
  • Ability to work to deadlines and able to work under pressure to deliver on multiple fronts

We are looking for the right person to start in February 2018.
