Job Description
Flomatik Network Services are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing in-house team based near Reading in Berkshire working on an exciting major telecoms project with one of the UK's leading telecoms/broadband companies.

We are looking for an energetic and passionate person with the successful candidate supporting the lead project managers in the business unit.

Main Outline Duties and Person Requirement:

  • Carry out weekly project reporting in the agreed formats, pulling relevant data from multiple sources and liaising with the data analysts
  • Electronic file management.
  • Using and updating MS Excel tracking reports and spreadsheets.
  • Processing and completing order documentation of stock orders for technical site builds with a focus on prioritising the requirement and urgency of incoming order requests.
  • Administration of staged release of orders.
  • Use of Oracle stock ordering systems, keeping track of stock volumes on key lines.
  • Raising and tracking Purchase Orders.
  • Stock ordering from 3rd party suppliers.
  • Dealing with and resolving failed deliveries and schedule changes.
  • Report and escalate to project lead/management as needed
  • Successfully assist in the management of the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Help establish and maintain relationships with third parties/client teams where appropriate

Personal attributes (skills, aptitude and understandings):

  • Previous experience in a telecoms project coordination background could be an advantage but not a prerequisite for this position - you might have worked for one of the major operators (Virgin Media, BT, etc..) or one of their Service Delivery Partners or related industries.
  • Or Previous experience in working on stock control, stock ordering and logistics.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically intermediate or above experience of MS Excel and ideally MS Access – additional Flomatik and client specific applications may be required (training will be provided where necessary)
  • Relationship builder, great attention to detail, diligent and can see ‘the bigger picture’
  • Appropriate educational background
  • Strong communication skills, coupled with a good telephone manner and experience of dealing with multiple parties, both internal and external
  • Good organisational skills and able to work logically.
  • Able to manage your own time effectively
  • To recognise and escalate issues and seek assistance where necessary
  • To be effective working in both a team and on own initiative
  • Ability to work to deadlines and able to work under pressure to deliver on multiple fronts

The Process:

This is a one stage interview process. A face to face interview will be required in our Minworth office.
